Students go to school for many different reasons. Some prefer to do things alone, others are very outgoing. Some student’s goals are to gain a significant other or to get as many friends as possible, and others want to advance their education. High School is a unique experience for everyone, and students should make the most out of their time while they are still just a kid. Many students will try their hardest in High School and move on to college. I can relate to this category, and I think it will take me and most who also follow it to be very successful in life. On the other end of the spectrum, many students will go straight into the workforce. They can get an apprenticeship, or just get job experience. Those who follow this path can also become very successful. Other students will have a gap year, attempting to figure themselves out, or maybe just doing it to have some money on hand for college. Whatever your path may be, you should have a plan and stick to it. Anyone can be successful if they just try. Of course, High School is also about having lots of fun. These are the final years of being a kid, and students will have many more responsibilities when they reach adulthood. Whether you like to play video games or sports anything else, make the best of your time, while also trying in school. And even though you may never see your friends after High School, they are still nice to have while it lasts. To summarize, High School is a very diverse place full of vastly different people. It is a pathway that guides students through the rest of their lives. They get to choose their own path. Ultimately, students should try their hardest in school while also making the most out of their time as kids. |
